Adopt a house for Rosia Montana

26 June 2014

The incredible true story of the biggest volunteer-led heritage restoration programme in Transylvania

We started off with some traditional Romanian appetizers and cakes, a little palinca, talked about the huge impact we can make as individuals when we get directly involved in the issues that we care about. Then we had fun in a house painting workshop led by artist Ema Marcu inspired by traditional Romanian motifs.
At the end of the night, pianist Sam Watts and violin player Dan Oates enchanted us with traditional Romanian songs (from Enescu to Ciuleandra). We were in awe, and decided to babtise them as Romanians.
